As a part of Mental Health Awareness Week, please join us at the Carter Park Gazebo in Leominster, MA on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 7:00 pm until 7:45 pm for a candlelight vigil to remember and support those in our lives who suffer with mental illness.
Fact: Mental health affects everyone regardless of culture, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
1 in every 5 adults in America experience a mental illness. Nearly 1 in 25 (10 million) adults in America live with a serious mental illness. One-half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14; three-quarters by the age of 24.
Mental Health Awareness week is from October 1 – 7, 2023. The Spanish American Center is an active Member of the National Alliance on Mental Health in Massachusetts, aka NAMI North Central MA.
